The Museum of Illusions Toronto is a 21st-century museum conceptualised to offer an interactive and unique experience that tricks the mind, challenges the vision and makes you question all your senses. The museum is a collection of more than 60 exhibits on over 4000 ft. All exhibits are based on science, mathematics, psychology, and art allowing you to learn a lot about vision, perception and the human brain, but in a fun and interactive way! The concept is both educational and entertaining, and it thrills the young and the old. So, no matter if you’re looking for a perfect way to spend some time with your children, an original idea for a date or a unique way to spend quality time with your grandparents. The Museum of Illusions is here to stay, this is a permanent setup

It takes approximately 45 minutes to experience the museum. However, we aren’t strict with our visit times, so if you want to stay longer to take some photos or play the Dilemma games in our Smart playroom, feel free to do so.

Museum of Illusions Toronto is a family-friendly attraction, and all ages are welcome. Please note, minors up to 15 years old can enter only if accompanied.

Subway Travellers:
– Get off at King Station.
– Take the 503 or 504 streetcars to King at Jarvis.

– Arrive at Union Station.
– Take the subway one stop to King Station.

If you’re arriving by car, street parking is available right in front of the museum. In case the street parking is full, guests can use the Go Park garage located at Front and Frederick Street

Pictures are not only allowed but encouraged! Our concept is interactive – you can touch every exhibit and take as many photos as you like. We love to see you share them on social media. MUSEUM OF ILLUSIONS Guest Waiver
Welcome to the Museum of Illusions! In exchange for your visit, please read and acknowledge the following for yourself and any minors accompanying you:
Assumption of Risk: The Museum is a dynamic environment with various activities. By entering and participating, you assume all risks, including evaluating your and your minor guests’ fitness for the activities.
Sensory Considerations: Some activities involve effects that may not be suitable for individuals with certain conditions. Please abstain from such activities if you have epilepsy, vertigo, balance issues, or other sensitivities.
Alcohol and Drugs: Alcohol and recreational drugs are prohibited on Museum premises and should not be combined with the activities.
Allergies: We’re here to ensure your visit is enjoyable and safe! By accepting this waiver, you’re confirming that you understand and accept responsibility for any food or drink allergies you may have. Thank you for helping us make your experience fantastic!
Compliance: Follow instructions from Museum staff for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Photography Consent: The Museum may capture photos or recordings for security and promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being included in these materials.
Medical Treatment: In case of injury or medical attention, you consent to necessary treatment, understanding that you are responsible for associated costs.
Assumption of Risk: Acknowledge the voluntary nature of your visit, understanding the potential risks involved, even if caused by the Museum or its representatives.
Liability Release: Waive all claims against the Museum and related entities for injuries, damages, or liabilities arising from your visit or participation in activities, excluding gross negligence or wilful misconduct where prohibited by law.
Miscellaneous: This waiver is the entire agreement, supersedes prior understandings, and is binding on you and any minor guests. It is governed by the laws of the province or territories where the Museum is located, and any claims must be brought in the designated courts.
Minor Guests: You affirm the accurate listing of minor guests, confirm your authority as their legal representative, bind them to this waiver, and indemnify the Museum from any claims related to these minors.
